Well done B1 (and Mr  Bates).  Fantastic assembly today.  Your powerpoints were really good considering that you put them together yourselves.  I hope that the parents who were there enjoyed the assembly as well.

Lily Update

Several of B1, past and present, have requested a Lily update so here we go…

Lily is nearly fourteen months old now and she is a little pickle.  She can walk everywhere and anywhere.  When you are trying to get her ready to go out, she likes to run into the kitchen and hide under the table.  Lily loves books.  We have four baskets of books, all in different rooms.  I am fed up of reading the same book over and over again so we are going to join the library so that we get to read some new books!  She has just discovered the TV, just before her first birthday she wouldn’t watch it at all and now all she wants to do is watch it.  Her favourite programmes are Peppa Pig and Fifi Flowerpot.

Lily can say quite a few words and although you can tell what she is saying, some of them are still quite unclear.  Her first word was Dada followed by door and car.  She has just learned to say ‘no’ and she is beginning to use it a lot!

She loves other children.  She likes to drop things for them to pick up and when they do then she drops them again…and again….and again!  If you were to see her then she would wave at you as that is one of her favourite things to do.  When we are shopping in Tescos she spends the whole time sat in the trolley waving at everyone and anyone.
